Protecting your personal data is a priority. This policy explains what data is collected via this website, for what purpose, how long it is kept and what your rights are, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (« Informatique et Libertés »).
1. Data controller

2. Data collected
The only personal data collected on this website is collected via the contact form, when you choose to fill it in: your first name, your last name, your email address, your telephone number (optional), the type of situation concerned, the countries involved (optional) and the content of your message. The website requires no account creation and collects no data without your knowledge.
3. Purpose of processing
This information is used exclusively to respond to your request, to assess whether mediation support is suited to your situation and, where appropriate, to arrange an initial exchange. It is not subject to any commercial prospecting.
4. Legal basis
The processing is based on your consent, expressed by the voluntary sending of the form (Article 6.1.a of the GDPR), as well as on the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Article 6.1.b of the GDPR).
5. Recipients and processors
Your data is intended for the firm alone and is neither sold nor transferred to third parties for commercial purposes. For technical reasons, it passes through the following providers:
Formspree (Formspree, Inc., United States) handles the delivery of the form messages to the firm's mailbox. Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) provides the hosting and delivery of the website. As these providers are located outside the European Union, data transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards (the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, the EU–United States Data Privacy Framework).
6. Fonts
The fonts used by the website are hosted locally, together with the rest of the site. No request is sent to a third-party service (such as Google Fonts) to display them: your IP address is therefore not transmitted to any external font provider.
7. Cookies
This website places no audience-measurement, profiling or advertising cookies. Only technical cookies strictly necessary for the security and proper functioning of the website may be used, in particular those placed by the host Cloudflare. These cookies do not require your prior consent.
8. Retention period
The data from the form is kept for as long as necessary to process your request, then archived or deleted no later than three years after the last contact, unless a legal obligation requires longer retention.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. You may exercise these rights at any time by writing to contact@ajavon-mediation.com. If, after contacting us, you consider that your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French Data Protection Authority (Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés, CNIL), www.cnil.fr.
10. Confidentiality of mediation
Independently of this policy, the exchanges taking place within a mediation process are covered by the principle of confidentiality specific to mediation: what is said or communicated during mediation may not be disclosed or used outside of it, except with the agreement of the parties or exceptions provided for by law.
